The Almost Summer Horse Show is offering a Beginner and an Intermediate Whitewater Rafting trip … and these trips are reserved exclusively for Almost Summer Exhibitors, Families, Trainers, Grooms, Assistants, Coaches, Fans, Groupies and Sundry Other Associates. Our Whitewater Rafting trips will last about two-and-a-half to three hours, tentatively departing from Idaho Springs in the beautiful Colorado Rockies at 11:30 in the morning. The cost is only $49 per person.

So – when packing for the horse show (in addition to your riding clothes and your hang-out-in-the-barn clothes and your dress-up-for-dinner-one-night clothes), be sure to pack a pair of nylon shorts or a swimsuit, some scruffy tennis shoes or sandals with ankle straps, some sunglasses and sunscreen! Oh, and it’d probably be a good idea to bring an extra batch of clothes to change into when you’re done splish-splashin’ around.

And FYI, the same rule applies to rafts as it does to horses – if ya fall off, ya gotta get back on … and (legal disclaimer – we have to include this) the Almost Summer Horse Show Committee and its staff will not be liable for any injury or damage. We’ll have genuine liability forms for you to sign when you get to Denver.
